We just picked Audriana up. She is home from Girl's Camp. She said she had the best time ever. I guess all that jogging in the evening paid off, She said it was a breeze. She said she learned a lot about hiking and getting along with out a mirror and lip gloss. She didn't as many photos as I would have liked but oh well, here they are.

My Ride

My poor van is sick. It is so sad, and I still can't get her fixed until Monday. John took her down to the mechanic and she has a bad Cadillac converter. I think there are days that I have the same problem. (making screaming noises, putting off a lot of bad exhaust and no power to move fast) Wish us both luck!

Here is Audri's back pack all ready to roll for her 4th year hike. It looks heavy but it wasn't to bad (30 lbs) with her water. We should have some fun photos when she gets home.

We stopped at Soda Dam on the way home from picking Devin up. It was a really cool place to stop and swim. The rocks had a strange formation and it had the smell that you find in Yellow Stone park. Yuck! We didn't swim but we watched other people swim. I don' t think the kids were very happy with me because I wanted to keep moving. But really people how much of the smell can one person take?

We're back from picking Devin up from music camp. We all had a nice drive and a good time. Although it does not go without incident, as you can see from the photo. I was walking in the park to set up my chair to watch the out door concert the Music Camp was putting on and I basically did the splits in a very deep puddle of water. And this happened just as the buses of kids were pulling in, so you can say I put on a good show for everyone. I am sure Devin was very proud of his graceful mother.

Devin said he had a great time. He has tons of stories to share of all the fun things that they did and the new friends he made. He also said that he wants to do it again next year. Yeah!

The cool thing was that Devin got to go up with Mr. Poff his Cello Teacher. He is the one in the blue shirt playing the violin.

Going North

Today we leave for Hummingbird music camp up in Jemez Springs, NM This is near Los Alamos/ Santa Fe area. We are Picking up Devin after being gone for the last 2 weeks with scout camp. I miss my sweet boy even if he is 12 years old. Audriana leaves for her 4th year hike at girls camp on Monday. They are going on a 12 mile hike. Wow! I don't remember going that far when I went. In fact I think we walked down a dirt road about 2 miles and the leaders met us at our camp site in their cars. Whats with that? I will be back on Monday and will post some photos of our trip then.

Let's Catch UP!

We have a Running start on Summer with tons of activities and all the goings on! Its started with Our sweet Jenna's Birthday on may 23rd Followed the next day by her baptism. We were able to celebrate all of this with our family in Arizona. We were all able to stay memorial day bowling and playing games but then we had to send Audri and John home so he could go back to work and she could head out to Youth conference! Teresa, Devin and Jenna stayed in Arizona to spend the week with Tamye and Family.

Since then Devin has gone to Scout camp, he came home to wash colthes and repack to head out to music camp the very next day. We are really missing him, but he will be home at the end of the week and we are sure he is having a great time.

Yes, here is a recent photo of the family. Not what I would call very attractive photo. As to why I am posting it I do not know, call me NUTS!

We just received a letter and photo from Dallin our missionary in the field. He is doing great and seems to love the work with all of his heart. We are so proud of him. We always love his letters home, you can feel the spirit in every word.
